How do you make old fashioned mix from scratch?

Better to make each drink separately from scratch.
Old Fashioned

You can pre mix bitters with sweet & sour as well.

I usually drink a welchs grape juice first think in the morning..the philosphy behind that is..alcohol is made up of primarily sugar and when you drink your sugar level rises and causes at times a person to become drunk. The next morning your body takes a sugar dump and thats where the headache comes in. By drinking the grape juice..you bring your sugar level back to where it was the night before without the after effects.

Works for me!! Thanks Babs

A: Flair Bartending is the practice of entertaining guests, clientele, or audience with the throwing/juggling of bar tools (eg; shaker tins) and liquor bottles in tricky, dazzling ways. "Flair", or "freestyle bartending", can be divided into two styles; working flair or competition flair. The difference between the two being the level of risk and complication of the tricks are higher for competitions. Good flair should be light hearted and entertaining while making actual, drinkable cocktails. for more go check ou the Flair Bartenders' Association|W|P|112398371532410577|W|P|Flair Bartending|W|P|drinkoftheweek@gmail.com8/12/2005 11:52:00 PM|W|P|the barkeep|W|P|Q: When a drink ask for 1 part what does that mean 1 shot? A: One 'part' in bartenders is proportional to size of drink you are making. For example a margarita is 2 parts tequila, 1 part triple sec and 1 part lime juice, that those parts can be 1/2 oz. 1 oz. 2 oz. etc. depending on how much you want to make.|W|P|112391650549381340|W|P|What is a Part?|W|P|drinkoftheweek@gmail.com8/12/2005 11:50:00 PM|W|P|the barkeep|W|P|Q: I'm thinking about buying some Absinthe. A: If refers to serving the drink with out ice, as in "straight up". No ice is also referred to as 'neat'.|W|P|112383001623687719|W|P|Up Drinks|W|P|drinkoftheweek@gmail.com8/11/2005 11:49:00 PM|W|P|the barkeep|W|P|Q: I've been a bartender for 30 years Some new bartender insists on squeezing the lime. I say don't squeeze it, let the customer decide if they want to add the flavor of a squeezed lime. Personally, I agree. Better to not ruin someone's drink, if they want to squeeze the lime, there it is, just waiting.
